Prescott, AZ — A devastating rollover crash in Prescott on Tuesday evening, January 15, 2025, left a woman in critical condition and her infant with injuries as well.

The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. near Williamson Valley and Camp Wood roads, according to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities report that an SUV veered off the road to the right, rolled several times, and collided with a tree.

The driver, identified as a woman in her late 20s from California, was ejected approximately 50 feet from the vehicle. A passerby who called 911 helped rescue the infant, who was still secured in a car seat inside the SUV.

The woman was airlifted to a hospital in Flagstaff in critical condition, while her infant was taken to a Prescott hospital. No other vehicles were involved, and deputies are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
